Contestant's Pun
For the purposes of tracking and keeping individuals and their puns straight, we need to know how may people independently come up with a similar or identical pun. Often same puns may be expressed in a variety of different ways and the quality of costume design will undoubtedly vary. In order to keep track, please give us the PUNCH LINE ONLY (not the costume description). Please verify that you have not posted any shots of your pun on the web including sending copies to family (who may independently post it on the web).

As the final judging will be on costume design and punch line (humor) we recommend you keep the pun concept guarded until after the judging, as this improves your chances of winning.
The sessions will be in a central location but with as much privacy as possible so that no independent photographers, cell phones, pocket cameras can capture your prize winning pun until after the contest judging and final awarding of prizes. If under 19 you will need a Guardian's Signature. Session Date Time and Location TO BE confirmed on receipt of registration/donation fee. We have no control over the perceptions or reactions of people and cannot be held responsible for such interpretations. All photographs taken and published are intended to create humor with respect towards the nature of puns. Applicants agree to the use of their photograph, name, personal biography, any recorded material or live performance(s) submitted by the contestant or created by punphotos.com for all promotional purposes related to punphotos.com and (VWTH) Victoria Women's Transition House Society in 2011/2012 and future years and the use of that information in all forms of media and communication related to punphotos.com without compensation or notice, and hereby release punphotos.com and its directors, employees, representatives, and agents, from any claims or liability arising out of or with respect to such use. Applicants are responsible for their own arrangements and expenses incurred to participate in punphotos.com. Neither the punphotos.com, Victoria Womens Transition House Society nor any of those involved in any capacity in organizing, executing, judging or supplying prizes for punphotos.com are responsible for covering or reimbursing any expenses incurred by applicants. Nothing in these rules imposes any obligation on the Victoria Womens Transition House Society, punphotos.com or any other individual, company or organization to print, reprint, broadcast or rebroadcast any images submitted by contestants, nor imposes any liability on the Victoria Women's Transition House Society, puphotos.com nor any other individual, company or organization for failure to do so. At punphotos.com sole discretion, prior to the awarding of the Grand Prize, the winner may be required to sign a declaration of eligibility.
